diet
marshall asked:

I have been considering changing my diet to vegetarian because of my personal and family health history including heart disease, strokes and blood disorders. My boyfriend is overweight and has heart problems and diabetes. What diet would be best for us?

***If your an uncontrolled diabetic do try and avoid a crazy rich diet in protein, as its not good for your kidneys***

Vegetarian is a good option. I would sincerely recommend you to become a vegetarian that does eat fish weekly. ADD fish oil pills to your daily routine. Flaxseed is also very healthy. Remember if you do become a vege… do not become deficient in vitamins. I’d recommend a daily vitamin, with Iron for you.

You need to cut out smoking, restrict alcohol intake (no more then 2 drinks/day 1 shot = 1 beer = 1 8oz. glass wine)

If you have high blood pressure (greater then 140 top or greater then 90 bottom) you need to be on a daily blood pressure medicine.

Walking daily and just restricting calories to under 2000/day is a successful way to lose weight. the important thing to remember is: its a daily struggle… stick with it everyday.

Metformin is a diabetic pill, and will cause weight loss in your boyfriend if he is not already on a medicine.

If you are really looking for the best diet,
I suggest doing what this mom did and combining the Acai diet with a cleansing program for the best diet result
